About the role
Terror Twilight, a popular café in the heart of Collingwood, VIC, is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Assistant Barista to join our passionate team. This part-time role (4–5 days per week) is ideal for someone looking to refine their barista skills while supporting the Head Barista and helping lead a motivated, collaborative team.

What you’ll be doing

Preparing espresso, filter, and specialty coffee to the highest standards

Assisting the Head Barista with daily operations and team coordination

Delivering warm, friendly, and efficient service to every customer

Supporting junior staff with training, guidance, and feedback

Maintaining a clean, organised workspace and following food safety guidelines

Assisting with general café duties including helping FOH & stock management

Participating in training to grow your coffee, leadership, and hospitality skills

What we’re looking for

Previous barista or hospitality experience with solid coffee knowledge

A natural leader who can support and motivate a team

Strong customer service skills and a welcoming personality

Attention to detail with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Passion for hospitality and eagerness to learn

Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays
