About the Role
Covet is looking for a commercially minded, client-focused Sales & Service Consultant who’s passionate about high-quality design and thrives in a fast-moving, tech-enabled sales environment.
You’ll manage and optimise the full customer journey from the first inquiry through to final delivery, ensuring every interaction reflects Covet’s design excellence.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a sales environment, is driven by results, and enjoys working to KPIs. You’re confident with technology, have experience using advanced CRM systems (Zoho is a bonus), and take pride in maintaining immaculate records and delivering with precision.
You’ll be the first point of contact for architects, designers, and builders, managing the full customer journey from inquiry through to delivery. You’ll work closely with suppliers and logistics, coordinate quotes and samples, and provide fast, informed product advice.

You’ll be based in our beautiful Yarraville showroom, working within a high-performing sales team. We operate Zoho CRM at an advanced level and are integrating AI-powered tools to streamline workflows, improve response times, and enhance the customer journey. These tools include automated follow-ups, smart quoting, and predictive insights – helping you work smarter and deliver more impact.

What You’ll Be Doing
Handling inbound inquiries with speed, accuracy, and warmth
Using Zoho CRM to track client touchpoints and maintain clean records
Leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency and anticipate client needs
Coordinating quotes, samples, and order progress with suppliers and logistics
Supporting marketing and trade events (within a defined scope)
Providing product advice to architects, designers, and trade clients
Meeting KPIs including response times, conversion rates, and repeat engagement
What You’ll Bring
You’re not just good with people – you’re commercially sharp and systems-savvy. You balance service excellence with sales momentum, anticipating client needs while keeping an eye on the close.
Experience in sales, client service, or account coordination (design/architecture exposure is a plus)
Confidence using CRMs and digital tools, with openness to AI-driven workflows
Strong written and verbal communication, and a calm, professional phone manner
A reputation for staying organised, multi-tasking, and solving problems without fuss
