The Role

We are looking for experienced, kind and passionate NDIS Finance and Accounts Specialist to join our team located in Maitland.

In this role you will be working to support the business in managing claiming, invoicing, financial accounts, and future planning to ensure that we can continue doing the incredible work we do in community for many millennia to come.

You will join our multidisciplinary team of social workers, occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, behaviour support practitioners and support workers who provide support to children, young people or people with a disability to help them to achieve their goals and build their independence into the future.

Within this role, you will be part of a collaborative, fun and creative team in reducing the barriers to people accessing appropriate supports for their needs and setting people up for success into the future. You will be responsible alongside the executive leadership team in managing XERO finance software for the organisation, as well as our database's customer invoicing managemenr, which is Flowlogic.

In addition to this, you will also manage invoices and claming for NDIS participants as per the NDIS price guide, including for plan managed, self managed and NDIA managed participants. You will be required to have experience with the NDIS price guide, and PRODA.

You will have access to weekly supervision, as well as significant peer-based support in an organisation that is based in providing a structure where all are equal, and the people we support's needs are the focus.

We are a flexible workplace provider, and rely on you choosing what hybrid model works best for you. This means we are flexible to working from home where appropriate, working from the office, and creating an office/ clinical space that you envision is best for the work we do.

Skills and experience

Qualifications - Highly attractive to have a bachelors level qualification in Accounting, but not essential.

Experience within the NDIS price guide, and with NDIS invoicing and accounts management

Experience with PRODA

Experience with XERO

Preferred but not essential, experience with FlowLogic.

NDIS accreditation to provide behaviour support is highly sought
