About the role

We are seeking a flexible and dedicated Finance Officer to join our team at Project Make Lemonade in our Tweed Heads, NSW office. In this casual position, you will play a key role in supporting our finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

What you'll be doing

Perform general accounting duties such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations

Assist with the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts

Liaise with internal stakeholders to provide financial information and analysis

Maintain and update financial records and documentation

Support the month-end and year-end close processes

Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed

What we're looking for

Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance

1-2 years of experience in a similar finance/accounting role

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office suite & XERO

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge of financial reporting and compliance requirements
