The Shire of Broomehill-Tambellup is seeking a motivated and community-minded Customer Service and Records Officer to join our team.
This permanent, full-time position is the welcoming first point of contact for residents, visitors, and stakeholders. You’ll provide accurate information, process transactions, and help deliver quality Shire services. You’ll also manage the Shire’s records, ensuring they are accurate, accessible, and compliant with statutory requirements.
We’re seeking someone who communicates well, pays close attention to detail, and can juggle tasks in a busy setting. Administration, customer service, and records management experience will be valued, as will familiarity with local government systems.
A salary range of $67,139-$69,539 per annum applies, dependent on experience and a scheduled wage increase of 3.5% will apply in November 2025.

A cover letter of no more than two pages which outlines your experience against the following selection criteria:
Essential
• Demonstrated experience in providing customer service and administrative support
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to manage inquiries, provide customer service, and ensure accurate processing and documentation
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills to complete administrative processes, resolve customer inquiries and requests, and ensure accurate documentation
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills to manage multiple tasks, ensuring timely completion and delivery of services
• Knowledge of records management principles and the ability to support staff in recordkeeping procedures.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and records systems
A current resume or curriculum vitae which provides:
• Relevant personal details (including name, address, phone number, email address)
• Summary of work experience, including the dates and details of tasks performed in each position
• Education and training relevant to the position description
• Any activities you have undertaken outside of work which are relevant to your application.
