About the role
We’re looking for a confident and capable Team Leader to guide and support a team of Building Managers across different sites. This is a critical leadership position acting as the key escalation point for operational issues, stakeholder concerns, and emergency events across a complex property portfolio.
Key responsibilities:
Be the key escalation point for operational concerns raised by the team or external stakeholders.
Work closely with senior stakeholders to address high-risk maintenance or compliance matters.
Provide strong on-the-ground leadership supporting building managers and ensuring renter safety and satisfaction.
Provide after-hours support and attending sites if required for emergency situations.
Conduct regular inspections of properties to monitor performance and compliance.
Ensure reactive and planned maintenance tasks are prioritised effectively.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and accountability.
What we are looking for
Proven leadership experience in property, facilities, or asset management
Strong problem-solving skills and calm under pressure
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Excellent organisational and reporting skills
A proactive mindset and genuine passion for delivering high-quality renter experiences
Full driver’s license and ability to travel across sites
Willingness to respond to emergencies outside of normal business hours.
Bonus points for:
Previous experience supporting compliance audits and service delivery in complex portfolios.
Knowledge of ESM and RTA minimum standards.
