The Organisation:
This mining services organisation is a significant supplier to the mining industry. You will work for an organisation that values independent thinking and autonomy. Being a small team, you will find everyone to be welcoming, accommodating and supportive. Although this is currently a temporary role, there is a strong expectation that it will ultimately convert to permanent for the right person.

The Role:
As the Finance manager, you will have 4 people directly reporting into you who are a mix of offshore accounts payable and accounts receivable, and one internal payroll officer. It is a great opportunity to take ownership of key financial processes while mentoring a team and working closely with the CFO.
You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading a team of 4 (including offshore AP/AR staff and an internal Payroll Officer)
• Overseeing transactional finance operations and ensuring smooth process flow
• Driving month-end close and management reporting across multiple entities
• Getting hands-on with journals, payroll, and systems when needed
• Supporting and developing your team while contributing to broader finance strategy

Your Profile:

• CA/CPA qualification (preferred)
• Experience in financial reporting, payroll, and transactional finance
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• A proactive, hands-on approach
