IPA Ranger Opportunity

​Are you a passionate and experienced land manager with a strong connection to Indigenous culture and conservation?

​The Framlingham Aboriginal Trust is seeking four dedicated IPA Rangers to join our team. We have two full-time and two part-time positions available for individuals committed to the management and protection of our Indigenous Protected Area.

​This is a chance to play a vital role in preserving the cultural and environmental values of the Framlingham forest and Deen Maar IPA's. You will be a key part of a community-led organization dedicated to land management, conservation, and creating opportunities for our community to connect with Country.

​What You'll Be Responsible For:

​Carrying out land management and conservation tasks within our Indigenous Protected Areas.

​Engaging with the community to raise awareness of our cultural heritage and environmental goals.

​Monitoring and reporting on the health of the natural environment and cultural sites.

​Contributing to the development and implementation of our Indigenous Protected Area management plan.

​Collaborating with government agencies and other land management groups.

​Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills.

​What We're Looking For:

​Proven experience in land management, conservation, or natural resource management.

​A deep understanding of Indigenous land management practices and cultural heritage.

​Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

​The capacity to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

​Knowledge of relevant environmental legislation and regulations.

​A current driver's license and a willingness to travel within the local region.
