The Role

St Andrews Lutheran College is seeking a highly skilled and motivated HR Administration Assistant to join our People & Culture team in a full-time, permanent capacity. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic, people-focused environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality administrative support across the employee lifecycle.

Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, the HR Administration Assistant plays a key role in supporting HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and employee record management. The successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft 365 tools and committed to streamlining workflows and enhancing collaboration across the College.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.

Maintain accurate employee records using TASS, SharePoint, and LEA Lexicon.

Prepare employment contracts and liaise with the Finance Office.

Manage Blue Card and QCT registration compliance.

Support HR projects and process improvements using Microsoft 365 and Power Automate.

Maintain the College’s Staff Intranet and training records.

Assist with HR-related events and annual service awards.

Collect and analyse employee feedback using Microsoft Forms.

Selection Criteria

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

Experience in HR administration, preferably within an education or similar setting.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, and Power Automate.

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including attention to detail and proofreading.

High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Experience using TASS or similar database systems (desirable).

Current Positive Notice Blue Card for Child Related Employment.

Qualifications or progress toward a qualification in Business or Human Resources (desirable).
