Catalina Club is seeking a reliable and proactive Administration Assistant for a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover parental leave. Based in beautiful Batemans Bay, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic, community-focused club environment.

The successful candidate will support day-to-day administrative tasks across departments and play a key role in member services and reception. Availability for early starts is essential to complete daily reconciliation tasks.

With over 13,000 members, we boast a highly regarded 27-hole golf course, modern clubhouse, and enjoy over 65,000 visitors per year. Our clubhouse is currently undergoing exciting renovations to further enhance the member and visitor experience, including upgraded dining, lounge, and social spaces.

The opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-regarded, community-driven Club in a role that offers variety, responsibility, and a chance to make a real impact. You’ll be working closely with a supportive admin team while contributing to the smooth day-to-day operations of a busy and vibrant club.

This fixed-term position offers flexibility and valuable industry experience—ideal for someone looking to further their career in administration within a professional and friendly team. Early starts will be required on certain days to complete reconciliation and reporting tasks, making punctuality and attention to detail a must.

Key responsibilities

General administrative duties and cross-departmental support

Perform accurate daily reconciliations and reporting (early starts required)

Assist with Club function administration

Maintain records, process correspondence, and support internal communications

What we're looking for

Strong organisational and time management skills

High level of attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Good numerical skills and confidence with daily reconciliation tasks

Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude

Available for early morning starts as required

Current NSW Driver’s Licence

NSW RSA & RCG (or willingness to obtain)

Desirable

Experience working in an Administration capacity.

Experience with Xero or other accounting software is highly regarded.

Experience within, or familiarity of the Club Industry
