We require a Operations Support Assistant to join our Wagga-based Microbiology team. This is an entry-level role, and involves preparing and testing samples using the relevant processes and methods.

Duties may include:

Preparing and grouping samples for testing in the microbiology laboratory,

Media preparation,

Complying with Symbio Laboratories quality, safety and other systems,

Sample pick up and registration,

Housekeeping and general laboratory duties.

ABOUT YOU:

Qualifications in microbiology and/or a laboratory science or related field would be desirable,

Ideally, a Certificate II in Sampling and Measuring, or a Certificate III in Laboratory Skills.

Flexibility to work rosters that meet business demands. This is essential as our laboratory operates 7 days per week.
