The role:
As the Senior Occupational Therapist supporting a Mental Health caseload, you will play a vital leadership role in coordinating and delivering high-quality, recovery-oriented services for participants over 18. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop person-centred action plans, and provide tailored interventions aimed at reducing preventable hospital admissions and improving health and wellbeing outcomes. You’ll work collaboratively with clients, families, carers, Support Coordinators, and other providers to ensure integrated, responsive care across multiple service sectors.

In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will provide supervision and support to a team of six clinicians, fostering a culture of professional growth and high standards of care. Your role includes overseeing access to services, facilitating group programs, and advocating for clients across health and social service networks. A strong understanding of compliance requirements, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for supporting individuals with complex needs will be essential in driving effective client outcomes and contributing to service innovation.

Requirements

Minimum Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy or relevant discipline

AHPRA registration

Min 3 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist

Valid NDIS Check

Police Check

Working with Children Check

Full driving license and access to reliable vehicle
