About The Opportunity

This on-site position offers a rewarding chance to deliver top-tier business services and tax compliance support while gaining hands-on experience in business advisory. You will report directly to the Principal and play a pivotal role in the firm's client engagements. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and lodging BAS, IAS, and FBT returns with precision
• Investigating complex tax and compliance issues and liaising with the ATO
• Reviewing and refining client bookkeeping and payroll records for accuracy
• Assisting in delivering strategic business advisory and financial planning services
• Crafting insightful management reports and supporting business plan development
• Building meaningful client relationships through direct engagement via email, phone, and meetings
• Preparing detailed financial statements and tax returns across a variety of entities, including individuals, companies, trusts, SMSFs, and partnerships

About You

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, and HandiSoft
• A completed tertiary qualification in Accounting
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• A proactive, collaborative mindset with a hunger for growth
• Meticulous attention to detail and a talent for problem-solving
• 4+ years of hands-on local experience in business services and taxation
• CA or CPA accreditation (or active pursuit thereof)
