ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly organised Marketing and Events Specialist to join our Community Engagement team commencing from Term 4 2025. This position offers the opportunity to work full-time during term time, plus an additional six weeks across school holiday periods, providing a balanced and rewarding workload (0.85 FTE).

The Marketing and Events Specialist is the creative and administrative lead responsible for the effective delivery of the College’s marketing, communications, and event initiatives. This is a hands-on, operational role requiring exceptional attention to detail, strong project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities from concept through to completion.

Reporting to the Director of Community Engagement and working closely with the broader team, this role blends creative expertise with operational precision to ensure all marketing and event outputs are delivered to a consistently high standard that enhances the College’s brand and reputation.

ABOUT YOU

You will be a highly organised and technically proficient marketing professional, capable of blending creativity with operational precision. You will bring:

Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, or a related field, or an equivalent level of professional experience.

Demonstrated experience delivering integrated marketing campaigns across digital and print channels.

Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt content to maintain brand voice and tone across multiple platforms.

High-level technical proficiency in Mailchimp (or other email marketing and CRM platforms) and TryBooking (or other ticketing platforms), and the full Google suite.

High-level technical proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe InDesign

Familiarity with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite) to track performance and optimise campaigns (desirable).

Strong organisational and project management skills, with the proven ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities and meet deadlines.

Experience coordinating events with diverse stakeholder groups, from planning through to post-event evaluation.

A collaborative approach, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a high level of initiative.

A current (or ability to obtain) Working with Children Check (QLD Blue Card).

A high level of professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to the College’s values and community.
