Casual Grill Chef – Premium CBD Steakhouse

We’re looking for a skilled and passionate Grill Chef to join our vibrant steakhouse team in the heart of the CBD. If you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, take pride in delivering consistent, high-quality food, and work well as part of a close-knit team, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing:

Confidently running your own section during service.

Preparing, cooking, and plating dishes to our recipe and presentation standards.

Working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to keep service smooth and efficient.

Maintaining a clean, organised section and following all food safety guidelines.

Managing stock rotation, minimising waste, and keeping prep levels ready for service.

Supporting and mentoring junior kitchen team members.

Bringing creative ideas for menu specials and seasonal updates.

What we’re looking for:

Previous experience in a similar role in a high-paced kitchen environment.

Strong grill skills and knowledge of steak cooking temperatures.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality.

A team player who takes pride in their work and values consistency.

Necessary food and safety qualifications to work in a kitchen environment
