Papi's Pizza Bar is after a casual Chef to join our kitchen team!

Work just steps from the beach in Rye, and be in the right place to enjoy it all. Located on the Mornington Peninsula, only an hour or so from Melbourne. This is the role to achieve genuine work/life balance and be in a great environment to enjoy what you do.

Papi’s Pizza is a dynamic and fast paced pizza restaurant, our popular Napoli style pizza uses the best local produce and our friendly service sees locals and visitors coming back for more! There’s be a snappy menu of classic Italian mains and pastas as well as small bites to support our popular pizzas (takeaway also available) with local wines, beers and cocktails.

The successful candidate will have:

- A positive can-do attitude

- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen in service and out including sound food safety knowledge

- Punctuality, reliability and good communication skills are a must (we have an established team leaders and of all-rounders to support you)

- Napoli style pizza experience preferred but not essential (we've been perfecting our Papi's dough for a while now and you'll be trained by the best in the business). However, a desire to work with dough is a must! Ability to create weekly specials even better!

This is a casual position with great conditions - no crazy late nights, or crazy early mornings. 20+ hours available on the current roster, with the opportunity to increase to full time in September to cover planned leave and the busy summer period.
