About the role

University House is seeking an experienced Casual Cook/Chef to join our kitchen team at our Parkville location. This is a casual position, offering flexibility to work around your schedule. As Casual Cook/Chef, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality, delicious meals for our members and guests in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing

Preparing a variety of hot and cold dishes from our menu

Maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene

Working collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely meal preparation

What we're looking for

Formal culinary training and/or 2+ years' experience as a cook/chef in a similar high-volume establishment

Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices

Excellent time management and multitasking skills to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Adaptable and able to thrive under pressure

Enthusiastic team player with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
