Mining Employment Services (MES) is seeking experienced Core Yard Technicians and Field Assistants to join exploration teams across Western Australia.
These roles offer FIFO opportunities from Perth on an 8:6 roster, working with established and reputable mining companies.

Key Responsibilities:

Processing diamond core and RC samples, including mark-up, orientation, photography, magnetic susceptibility, RQD, densities, recoveries, cutting, and sampling

RC and diamond drill chip collection, washing, and storage

Implementing company QAQC procedures

General field support duties including camp set-up, maintenance, and equipment operation

Accurate data recording and reporting

Requirements:

Previous experience in core processing or field assistant work (minimum 12 months preferred)

Knowledge of exploration and mining processes

Current WA C-class Manual Driver’s Licence

High Risk Work Licence (forklift, loader, backhoe) – highly regarded

Senior First Aid certificate – desirable

Ability to work safely, independently, and as part of a small team
