Main responsibilities include:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of technical claims professionals to achieve team and individual KPIs.
• Monitor workloads and ensure timely delivery of all claims requirements.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage complex or large-loss claims.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide feedback on training needs.
• Promote a positive team culture and act as a role model for company values.

The ideal candidate:

• Strong experience within Commercial Property claims a must.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach a team. Can be a senior looking to make the move into a team leader role.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proven customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of claims guidelines and regulatory compliance within general insurance.
• Tertiary qualifications in insurance, finance, or a related field highly regarded.
