Building Manager – Sydney East

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Building Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our mixed-use property portfolio in Sydney’s East. This is a full-time role where you will work closely with owners, tenants, and service providers to ensure the smooth, safe, and efficient running of all buildings under your care.

Key Responsibilities

Manage building operations and maintenance – Coordinate repairs, renovations, and improvements while ensuring assets are kept in excellent condition.

Oversee contractors and service providers – Monitor performance, ensure compliance with safety standards, and maintain a high level of service delivery.

Tenant relations – Act as the primary liaison for tenants, responding to enquiries, resolving concerns, and maintaining strong relationships.

Budget management – Prepare and monitor budgets, track expenses, and ensure operating costs are well-managed.

Compliance and safety – Implement and enforce building policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe, compliant environment.

Reporting – Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports for property owners on building performance and maintenance activities.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as a Building Manager or in a similar property management role.

Candidate who has construction background or knowledge is preferred.

Strong understanding of building maintenance, compliance requirements, and tenant management.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Proficiency in property management systems, MS Office, and related software.

Highly organised, adaptable, and able to prioritise tasks under pressure.

A valid driver’s licence and flexibility to travel between sites as required.
