With over 13,000 members, we boast a highly regarded 27-hole championship golf course and vibrant member base. Our clubhouse is currently undergoing exciting renovations to further enhance the member and visitor experience, including upgraded dining, lounge, and social spaces.

The opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Greenkeeper / Grounds person to join our growing Course Maintenance Team in a full-time capacity (38 hours per week, including rotating weekend shifts).

This role is key to maintaining the high standard of our golf course and surrounds while contributing to the overall transformation of the Catalina Club experience.

You’ll be joining a supportive and high-performing team that values Growth, Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, and Trust (GRITT).

Key responsibilities

Maintenance and presentation of the golf course, turf, greens, bunkers, and gardens

Operation and upkeep of turf maintenance equipment and machinery

Implementation of turf management practices (mowing, irrigation, spraying, etc.)

Support for course development and improvement projects

Safe and effective completion of daily maintenance schedules

What we are looking for

Certificate III in Sports Turf Management or equivalent (or currently undertaking)

Demonstrated experience in golf course, turf, or sportsground maintenance

Knowledge of turf health, irrigation, and machinery operation

A proactive and reliable team player

Good communication skills and ability to work unsupervised
