Grounds person (golf course maintenance)

Wagga Wagga Country Club is seeking casual grounds person to join an enthusiastic and motivated maintenance team for a minimum of 12 hours per week.

The successful candidate will be working with a great team of green keepers to present the course for weekly tournaments and major Pro-Am events and assist the course development projects. No experience is required with on the job training provided. Transport to and from work is essential with early starts and weekend work.

The Country Club is located on the shores of Lake Albert and is the city’s premier golf facility hosting over 60,000 rounds per year. Widely acclaimed as one of the best country golf courses in New South Wales, the 18-hole Championship golf course warmly welcomes both members and guests to enjoy a unique experience on and off the course.

Grounds person:

The successful applicant will need to meet the following criteria:

· Willingness to learn and work with others

· Good work ethic

· Operating specialized turf mowers and machinery (training provided)

· Have a current drivers license and be available for weekend shifts

· Knowledge of golf will be viewed favorably however is not essential

This is a unique opportunity for a motivated person looking to do few more hours or would suit a student with flexible days available.
