We are seeking the services of an experienced Grounds Maintenance Supervisor with experience in all areas of the industry.

The primary focus of the position is to manage and work as part of a team to maintain the grounds and gardens at various sites within the Sydney area

Southwest Grounds and Gardens is based Sydneys Southwest and maintain sites in the MacArthur region, Camden, Campbeltown, Penrith, Liverpool, Richmond and Southern Highlands and NSW South Coast

Southwest Grounds and Gardens is a full service lawn, grounds and garden maintenance company providing service to nursing homes and aged care facilities, lifestyle villages, acreage, government facilities, commercial and strata customers.

Qualifications & experience

$35 - 40 per hour

You will need to posses exceptional communication skills as client communication is a key part of this role

You will require a commitment and desire to deliver quality outcomes

A passion for Horticulture and Grounds Maintenance

You will require experience in managing small teams of 3-8 team members across multiple locations possibly more in the future

You will require previous experience operating z turn mowers and grounds maintenance equipment

Qualifications in Parks and Gardens desired but not essential

Experience maintaining mowing and grounds maintenance equipment

Working in a team and independently

Keen eye for detail and experience in hedging, pruning and shaping of shrubs desirable etc

Good mannered and positive can do attitude

Willingness to participate in a vaccination programme including flu vax and Covid vax
