Join the Australian arm of a European leader in high-tech products and engineering solutions as they settle into their new Mulgrave head office. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and liaise with the overseas head office as the group continues to grow and evolve locally.

In this highly visible role, you'll have plenty of interaction with the local marketing, operations and warehouse teams as you:

• Manage inventory valuations, audits, cycle counts and reporting
• Improve stock accuracy, turnover and minimise obsolescence
• Finalise pricing in conjunction with the marketing team
• Month-end and year-end support, and partner tax/audit advisors
• Complete reconciliations and prepare tax requirements
• Manage AP and AR (around 15% of the role)

This role would suit an aspiring accountant looking to build their career within a successful SME. You will need a few years of accounts experience in an inventory/stock-focused environment, such as manufacturing, logistics, supply chain or consumer products. This will have led to exposure to high-volume transactions where you have applied your clear and confident communication skills, and created process and systems improvements.

Ideally studying towards your CPA/CA, SAP experience will be a bonus. Remuneration shall be circa $80 - $85k plus super (parking on site, with potential for hybrid 4:1 once you are up to speed).
