The Opportunity:

You will be an energetic, proactive consultant in facilities asset management and aim to join their friendly, high-performing Sydney team. Working alongside a supportive Senior Consultant, you will participate in a diverse range of projects. Typical tasks may include contracting and procurement, developing asset management strategies and operational plans, lifecycle costing, FM and Asset Management service delivery reviews, and preparing due diligence reports. These projects can cover various property types and sectors, offering excellent opportunities to further develop your skills career.

Your Responsibilities and Duties will include:

  • Undertaking site visits or inspections and identifying areas for improvement, developing asset registers, and conducting building fabric inspections.
  • Analysing data to make recommendations on asset lifecycle models, Capex/Opex budgets, and operational plans.
  • Preparing draft reports and specifications that align with the client's format and structure.
  • Assisting in preparing business cases, tender responses, and marketing materials for the organisation and external clients.
  • Providing due diligence reports, FM, and Asset Management service delivery reviews.
  • Offering advice on building maintenance, preventative and reactive maintenance, minor works, and life-cycle replacement strategies.
  • Supporting clients with Asset Management contract administration, including contract transition management, variations, and performance reviews.

Your Skills and Attributes:

  • Using your commercial and analytical skills, you will enjoy variety and working on project-oriented engagements.
  • You will have a strong grasp of written language to prepare and write reports and communicate clearly with your clients.
  • You will have excellent attention to detail and may demonstrate a flair for spreadsheets, maintenance planning, asset management, contracts, procurement, or bid writing.
  • Proven commercial experience within the Asset Management and FM Services sector. Exposure to ISO55000 or ISO41000 is advantageous.
  • A tertiary qualification in building, asset management, or facilities management, along with relevant experience, will be highly regarded.
  • Confidence, relationship-building skills, and networking abilities are essential, as this role involves dealing with many internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, structuring, and visualisation will be highly valued.
