About the role

Brown Recruitment Services is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor/Managers to join our client in Mackay, QLD. This can be either a fulltime or contract role pending your preference. The role is integral to overseeing the successful delivery of commercial construction projects, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and project timelines.

What you'll be doing

Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including managing subcontractors and delegating tasks to the site team

Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards and in compliance with relevant building codes and regulations

Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving any issues or roadblocks in a timely manner

Foster a strong safety culture on site, implementing and enforcing safety procedures

Liaise with clients and other stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns

Support the planning and scheduling of construction activities to optimise workflow and productivity

Mentor and develop the skills of the site team, providing guidance and constructive feedback

What we're looking for

Significant experience (3+ years) as a Site Supervisor or Site Manager in the commercial construction industry

Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills

Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Trade qualification in carpentry
