Salary from $120,000 - $140,000 + Super

Strictly Monday – Friday working week.

An excellent tier 3 build, fit-out and refurbishment contractor in located in Brisbane has an immediate need to hire a Site Supervisor on a permanent basis to join their growing team. Joining this business employing approx. 100 staff nationally, you will deliver projects with a particular focus on Federal & Defence, which encompasses office fit-outs, army barracks upgrades, refurbs and extensions of educational facilities and more. Projects will typically range from $300k – $8M. They are often in high-security environments and diverse nature.

As the number 1 Site Supervisor on the job, reporting to the Project Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the construction project which will include;

Organising sub-contractors

Driving and management of all on-site trades and sub-contractors

Reading construction plans and drawings

Overseeing high-quality finishes

Ensuring Site Safety through HSE management

Assisting with the delivery of the project to programme and to budget

Client and stakeholder liaison

Reporting to the Project Manager through email correspondence and telephone.

Suitable candidates will possess the following;

Ideally coming from a Carpentry or Shopfitting background

3 Years + Site Supervisor experience in the interiors and refurb space

Must have managed commercial refurbishment projects to from $5M in value.

Experience across Govt, education and federal sectors is highly valued

Baseline or higher level clearance highly desirable, not essential.

Live environment works experience is of benefit

Working in ‘live environments’ is highly desirable.

Will have a strong knowledge of interior fit-out trades

Will have worked for established fit-out companies in Australia in a Supervisory position.

Will have been ‘number 1’ Site Manager small fit-out and refurb on projects
