About the role
Q-Systems are looking for a motivated and experienced Parts and Purchasing Coordinator to join the team in Acacia Ridge, QLD. We are a Auto-electrical & Hydraulic company that specializes in building and servicing heavy equipment for the Mining, Civil construction & renewables sectors . This role will be setting up & managing our warehouse and handling our parts sales. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the efficient management and control of the workshop parts inventory to ensure the smooth operation of the business. This role will be very hands on managing parts for workshop jobs.

What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Parts Person or Stock Controller in an automotive workshop environment, minimum 2 years' experience.
Strong knowledge of automotive parts, hydraulics components, and inventory management systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with workshop staff
Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Proficient in the use of inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications
A keen eye for identifying cost-saving and efficiency improvement opportunities
A current forklift licence would be highly regarded
What you'll be doing
Accurately receiving, cataloguing, and storing parts and components
Maintaining detailed and up-to-date records of all parts and inventory levels
Proactively ordering parts and components to meet the workshop's requirements
Liaising with workshop technicians to understand their parts needs and ensure timely availability
Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external clients
Assisting with stock takes and inventory audits
Identifying opportunities to improve parts management processes and efficiencies
