About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Customer Service Officer to join our clients frontline support team. In this role, you’ll respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and digital channels, assisting with bookings, park information, events, and general queries. You'll play a key role in promoting access to parks, while ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, timely customer service that aligns with NPWS standards and values.

Respond to enquiries related to accommodation reservations, park passes, events/tours, and park-related issues.

Resolve customer queries with care and professionalism, aiming for first-contact resolution.

Accurately record and maintain customer interaction data and service outcomes.

Build strong internal and external relationships while representing NPWS with integrity.

Stay up to date with NPWS services, policies, and resources to provide accurate and helpful information.

Required Skills & Experience:

Previous experience in a customer service/contact centre or administrative support role in a tourism / hospitality reservations environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills – both verbal and written.

Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.

Tech-savvy, with the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.

A collaborative team player with a can-do attitude and commitment to service excellence.
