About the role

We are seeking a highly-skilled Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team at WRITE Solutions Australia. This full-time role will be based in our Bibra Lake, WA office and will play a crucial part in supporting our growing Accounting and Reporting functions.

What you'll be doing

Manage all financial requirements of the business from start to finish

Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards for BAS and IAS

Manage the month-end and year-end accounting close process, including reconciliations and analysis

Support the development and maintenance of robust accounting policies, procedures and controls

Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to support business decision-making including Cost analysis and client profitability

Assist with tax planning, compliance and statutory reporting requirements

Accounts payables and invoicing monthly

Manage all payroll including superanuation

What we're looking for

A Masters of accounting and or CA / CPA accreditation

5+ years of post-qualification experience in a similar senior accounting role, ideally within a professional services or commercial environment and well versed in xero accounting software

Strong technical accounting knowledge and expertise in financial reporting, analysis and compliance

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders

Proficient in the use of accounting software, spreadsheets and data analysis tools

Expert experience in excel and ability to learn new softwware ie like CRM's

Outstanding attention to detail and a commitment to quality and accuracy

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
