About the Position:
WorkPac is currently seeking a Senior Asset Management professional to join our client in Port Hedland. This role is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of a comprehensive and integrated asset management framework. It requires advanced expertise in systems integration, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning, ensuring asset management practices align with the Town’s long-term financial objectives and broader organisational strategy. The position also plays a key role in fostering strong collaboration across internal departments and external partners to deliver best-practice outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Serve as the principal advisor and leader for the Town’s strategic asset management initiatives, driving innovation and best practice adoption.
• Lead the creation of a comprehensive, organisation-wide Asset Management Framework that meets industry standards and legislative requirements.
• Oversee the integration of advanced asset management systems with ERP, GIS, and other organisational platforms for seamless functionality.
• Design and deliver tailored training programs and workshops to build organisational capability in asset management.
• Analyse, refine, and optimise existing processes to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service delivery.
Skills & Experience Required:
• Degree qualifications in Asset Management, GIS, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated success in designing and implementing asset management frameworks in complex operational environments.
• Advanced knowledge of financial asset management, lifecycle analysis, and systems integration.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, GIS platforms, and advanced data analytics tools.
• Strong capability in long-term planning and aligning asset management practices with organisational priorities.
• Ability to interpret and apply legislation, offering authoritative advice on compliance and best practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and fostering collaborative partnerships.
• Extensive background in successfully delivering large-scale, multi-faceted projects.
• Skilled in change management to ensure smooth transitions and stakeholder engagement.
