The Pickerings Group of Companies is a privately owned business in the automotive industry. With 33 car brands across eight dealerships in Queensland and the Northern Territory, we are seeking a Digital Marketer who will become the driving force behind our online presence.

Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimising our digital marketing campaigns and strategy across all digital and social media channels. This is a hands-on role for a creative and analytical individual who is passionate about digital trends and eager to make an impact on our business growth.

As our new Digital Marketer, you will be crucial in ensuring outcomes such as enhancing brand awareness, driving traffic to our digital platforms, and generating leads.

Our Head Office is located in Townsville City where this full time role is based.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Digital Strategy Development:

- Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with overall business goals with the Group Marketing Manager.

- Identify target audiences and devise digital campaigns that engage, inform, and convert prospects into customers, based on industry stakeholders.

2. Campaign Management:

- Plan, execute, and optimise digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, search engine optimization (SEO), and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising and identify and search engine marketing (SEM)

- Monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics, adjusting strategies to maximize ROI and achieve KPI’s daily.

3. Content Creation and Management:

- Create compelling and relevant content for digital channels, ensuring consistency with brand messaging and values.

- Manage content calendars and coordinate content creation with internal teams or external agencies.

4. Social Media Management:

- Develop and implement social media strategies to build brand presence and engage with the target audience.

- Monitor social media trends and competition, recommending adjustments to the strategy as needed.

5. SEO and Website Optimisation:

- Optimise website content and structure for search engines to improve organic visibility.

- Stay abreast of SEO trends and algorithm updates, adjusting strategies accordingly.

6. Email Marketing:

- Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, A/B testing, and performance analysis.

- Develop and maintain email lists, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.

7. Analytics and Reporting:

- Utilise analytics tools to track and report on the performance of digital marketing efforts.

- Provide regular insights and recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness.

8. Collaboration and Communication:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and design, to align digital marketing strategies with overall business objectives.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, keeping them informed about campaign progress and results.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Proven experience in digital marketing, with a focus on campaign management and performance analytics.

- Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, tools, and best practices.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

- Proficiency in using digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, SEO tools, and social media management platforms.
