Join City of Moreton Bay in this key leadership role within our newly established Enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO), and help deliver projects that shape and enhance our communities - today and into the future.
This is an exciting time to come on board! With our new General Manager now in place, we’re looking for five new team members to help design and implement a high-quality, fit-for-purpose ePMO function here at Australia’s third-largest council.
Reporting to the ePMO Implementation Manager, you'll be responsible for establishing and maintaining the Enterprise Master Schedule covering all programs and projects within the ePMO’s remit.
This is a key role for the team as we look to you to drive a culture where strategic milestones are anticipated and decisions are made in a timely manner.
Joining during these foundational stages presents a unique opportunity to develop scheduling standards for project teams across the broader organisation, ensuring consistency and effective application of scheduling systems.
We'll also look to you to:
- Consolidate and interpret complex project schedule inputs to identify key milestones, critical interdependencies, and inform portfolio sequencing decisions.
- Monitor project progress, analyse schedule metrics, assess the impact of changes, and provide strategic recommendations and escalation pathways to stakeholders.
- Facilitate forward planning sessions and scheduling reviews to support portfolio and delivery readiness.
- Design and deliver schedule performance reporting, trend analysis, and data visualisations that inform scheduling oversight and decision-making.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders and the ePMO to uplift scheduling capability, driving the implementation and use of best-practice tools and methodologies to ensure consistent standards.
- Support alignment between the Enterprise Master Schedule and cost tracking/risk management systems.

About you
We are seeking an experienced master scheduler, with a proven track record of developing and managing integrated schedules across large, complex organisations.
You will be highly proficient in tools and methodologies such as Microsoft Project and Primavera, and bring a strong understanding of project lifecycles, including the identification and mitigation of schedule risks.
With your high-level analytical approach and ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, you’ll be confident in interpreting complex scheduling data and influencing decision-making.
You’ll be energised by the opportunity to join at the foundation stage - ready to roll up your sleeves and contribute to establishing procedures, policies and training as needed.
