APG Workforce is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our client in Canning Vale, WA.

This business has built strong, lasting relationships with fishermen, delivering the best catch from local waters — and now also bringing premium seafood from around the world to Australian tables.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of machinery and equipment to keep operations running smoothly, minimise downtime, and ensure everything meets the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues.
• Conduct inspections and testing to meet operational and compliance standards.
• Keep accurate records of repairs, parts used, and labour costs.
• Monitor and improve equipment performance and processing efficiency.
• Manage spare parts inventory and support continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures and legislation.
• Coordinate with contractors and internal teams for effective resource planning.

What We’re Looking For

• Trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical (WA Electrical Licence or equivalent).
• Previous experience in manufacturing; food industry experience highly regarded.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Flexibility to work shifts, overtime, and on-call when required.
