As we continue to grow our industrial division, we’re seeking a qualified Heavy Duty (HD) Technician with strong experience in power generation systems to join our team.
About The Role
As an Industrial Power Generation Technician, you'll perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel generators and industrial engines in the workshop and on site. You'll confidently interact with customers, provide technical support, and set a strong example for apprentices.
Key Responsibilities
Perform scheduled servicing, fault diagnosis, and breakdown repairs on diesel generators and industrial engines
Undertake commissioning, load testing, and performance inspections
Support remote mine sites and critical infrastructure facilities with service needs
Accurately complete service documentation and customer reports
Participate in after-hours on-call roster (as required)
About You
Qualified Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic (Australian trade certificate)
Proven experience with industrial engines, diesel generators, and/or mobile plant
Sound understanding of electrical and control systems associated with power generation (desirable)
Field service experience in mining or critical services preferred
Ability to work independently and represent the company professionally
Strong safety focus and commitment to quality workmanship
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety best practices.
Collaborate with our team to maintain a "Can Do" attitude and contribute to our dynamic work environment.
Additional Requirements
Full working rights in Australia
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
