We are seeking a hands-on Sales Manager who thrives on developing people and leading from the front. In this role, you’ll be focused on coaching and mentoring our sales team, helping them refine their skills, boost performance, and deliver outstanding results. You’ll also play a key part in winning and retaining customers while developing your own sales pipeline.
Permanent full-time (38 hrs/week)
Start Date – September 2025
Location: Brisbane QLD
Hybrid role - Split between work from home, visiting prospects/clients face-to-face and our Brisbane CBD office.
About the Role
Coaching, Leadership and Team Development:
Lead by example, working closely with the sales team to provide daily guidance and support.
Conduct regular one-on-one and group coaching to improve sales techniques and develop skills.
Build and maintain a positive, motivating team culture that celebrates achievements and encourages growth.
Monitor sales performance, provide constructive feedback, and help the team meet and exceed targets.
Regularly accompany team members on client visits and meetings to model best practices and help with closing opportunities.
New Business Development
Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities via calls, face-to-face meetings, virtual meetings, and networking events.
Maintain a personal pipeline of prospects and convert them into active shipping customers.
Conduct in-depth consultations with businesses to understand their logistics needs and challenges.
Present tailored solutions that clearly demonstrate the value of partnering with InXpress.
Follow up consistently to build lasting client relationships and secure repeat business.
Requirements
Previous sales management experience is essential for this position
Previous freight and logistics industry experience would be beneficial, but not essential.
You have a professional work-from-home setup: Laptop, high-speed internet, quiet workspace.
Ability to travel interstate as required for client and team visits.
Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
