With a growing team and a focus on excellence, we are seeking a proactive Rostering Officer to join our dedicated team and help ensure smooth daily operations across the site.
As our rostering officer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining efficient, fair, and compliant rosters for our staff. We are looking for a successful applicant that is flexible and will work well in a team environment. This role requires a high level of customer service, ability to multi- task and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, we are looking for staff with office and aged care experience, although this is not essential as there will be training provided.
Ideally we are looking for someone to work 5 days per week 8.30am-4.30pm Monday to Friday. This could be negotiable to a 9 day fortnight or 4 days per week for the right applicant. 4 days per week would be Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri (Wednesday off).
Job tasks and responsibilities
Scheduling/Rostering
Manage staff rosters across all departments and organise coverage for absences
Respond to last minute shift changes
Liaise with care staff and managers
Maintain accurate records using rostering software (Kronos/UKG Ready)
Reception tasks
Maintain accurate timesheets and assist preparing for payroll
Assist with Residential admissions
Accurate data entry
Assisting Staff, Residents and their families with enquiries
Skills and experience
Experience in Administration and Reception positions
Experience in Aged Care or a similar Healthcare environment
- Have a high level of computer literacy
- Be able to prioritise and manage time effectively
- Problem solving skills
- Enjoy a fast paced working environment
- The ability to keep calm and relaxed under pressure; and a sincere commitment to resolving issues in a collaborative manner
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Mandatory Requirements
- Current National Police Check OR NDIS card (yellow card), or willingness to obtain.
