The Department:
We are working with a couple of departments that are in need for APS6/EL1 financial accountants over the remainder of the EOFY period.

The Role:
It’s EOFY and we are working with a range of departments that are looking for APS6/EL1 financial accountants for short-term contracts. Most contracts are 2 to 3 months and available for labour hire. We also have a operations focused role available for 6 months.

They are all with government clients and to cover gaps whilst permanent processes are run and completed. You may have the opportunity to apply for the permanent position in some cases.

Strong technical candidates with federal government experience are in demand for these roles.

Your Skills and Experience:
To be considered for these roles you must be able to demonstrate current financial accounting experience from within a Federal Government environment, you must therefore be an Australian Citizen – a Baseline clearance is mandatory for these positions.

Experience of successful management and completion of a number of financial statement cycles coupled with professional qualifications (CA/CPA) will make you a front runner for this role. You must also have great communication skills and a willingness to expand your skill set and grow within the role and organisation.
