Mind Body Well are a boutique psychological and dietetic therapy practice located just off St Kilda Road Melbourne - soon to be moving to a lovely office within close walking distance of the new Anzac Station. We are a lead organisation providing therapies and programs for people experiencing mental health concerns, with a particular focus on eating disorder therapy.

We are currently seeking a full time Administrative Officer to join us in this role supporting our current administrative team, our clients and our Psychologists and Dietitians. Part time roles will also be considered for suitable applicants.
About the role
Our Administrative Officer is an important first point of contact for many of our clients and referrers, and also assists management with all administrative matters. The position also requires regular communication with our team of allied health practitioners, and reports to our Practice Manager.

Skills and experience
We are seeking a candidate who can demonstrate the following skills and experience:
A bright friendly personality, you must be able to engage with all types of people and be supportive of their work with our therapists
Excellent customer service and written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and task accuracy
Strong planning and problem-solving skills
Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise key tasks
Ability to work independently when required
Either training or previous experience in an Administrative Officer role
Demonstrated understanding of the need for confidentiality in all aspects of the role
Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft 365 products
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop the role with support and guidance from our Practice Manager. You must have a passion for excellence in customer service, the ability to prioritise various activities, and a genuine interest in building warm and constructive relationships with clinicians, team members and other health professionals. We are looking for someone to join our team as soon as possible, with some early evening hours required.
Salary and hours
The position will be based in our central Melbourne office on a full time basis (part time roles will also be considered for suitable applicants.). Conditions will be based on the Health Professional and Support Services Award, and the salary will be negotiated according to skills and experience.
