Aboriginal Community Engagement Office /Case Worker
Permanent Part-Time – 2 days per week / 15hrs

About the role
This position is responsible for engaging with the local Aboriginal community, Coordinating / attending community events and programs that raise awareness of support services available and providing appropriate case work support as required.
An interest in / experience of facilitating groups would also be welcome.
Skills, experience, and qualifications
We’d like to hear from you if you’re interested in joining our organisation and have skills and experience in the following areas:
Qualifications in Community work or similar
Demonstrated experience in community engagement work and /or casework
Understanding of cultural issues with the ability to work effectively and respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
Well-developed interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience of working with and having engaged effectively with both Aboriginal and Non-Aboriginal people in a sensitive , informed and respectful manner.
Proven ability to adhere to clinical, professional and ethical standards
