IMMEDIATE START

Position: we are looking for a Licenced Electrician with a strong industrial electrical background, who has worked on machinery and other types of plant and equipment.

The Role: As a Service Technician/Electrician, you will be working with other teams to troubleshoot, repair, service and maintain Building maintenance units. All work is predominantly on High rise buildings located in and around the Brisbane CBD. Our office is in Salisbury but starting and finishing may be directly to and from the site.

In this position, your responsibilities will be;

Visiting various sites to perform troubleshooting, identifying issues and servicing of heavy machinery equipment.

Delivering preventative maintenance works in accordance with planned schedules.

Developing relationships with client's facilities management & liaising with building Management & project managers during contract works

Providing training for safe operating procedure to new operators.

Preparing WHS, SWMS and QA documentation

Regular documenting of all tasks, using service management software and completing associated paperwork.

The Suitable Candidate Will Have

Trade qualifications in Electrical with very strong fault finding/ trouble shooting skills on automated or PLC based control system.

Understand parameters in vf drives

A Grade Electrical Licence

Ability to read and interpret electrical & mechanical engineering drawings

Be committed and self-motivated, with very good organisational skills

An ability to self manage tasks as required & ability to perform under pressure and within tight time-frames

Current WHS Card, Current clean unrestricted drivers licence & Working at Heights Certificate preferred

A good level of computer literacy

Excellent communication skills

The ability to work as a team.

This position includes, uniform, PPE and mobile phone and access to company vehicle for the right candidate.
