Industrial Service Electrician

Our local subsidiary, in Brisbane is seeking a motivated Electrician willing to work as part of a site-based service team. You will be expected to work with machines operating in a lower level controls environment, fulfilling the following roles:

Preventative and corrective maintenance on machines and associated controls environments.

Electrical/Mechanical fault finding for equipment such as transfer vehicles, powered roller decks, truck docks and hoists.

Assisting your team to ensure maximum system availability for the customer.

Working towards increasing equipment reliability by continuously improving machines and sub components.

Ensuring electrical equipment is maintained and tested in accordance with Australian Standard AS/NZS 3000 Electrical installations.

Reading and interpreting design schematics to ensure the proper maintenance of electrical systems.

Actively engage and support aspects of site works such as equipment installation, testing, commissioning and site co-ordination.

Key Requirements:

Qualified Electrician with experience in PLC-controls, relay logic, hydraulic and mechanically driven systems.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Able to pass a Police Check for ASIC Card eligibility

Clear Drug & Alcohol Test
