Project Manager - Control Systems & Gas Turbine Upgrade (Power Station)

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a fast-paced, 10-week control systems and gas turbine upgrade project at a power station in South Australia. This is a client-side role, representing the owner's interests and ensuring the successful delivery of project outcomes in a high-stakes operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the execution of control systems and gas turbine upgrades from a client-side perspective
• Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and safety
• Monitor project performance, ensuring delivery against agreed milestones, budget, and quality standards
• Facilitate risk assessments, progress meetings, and ensure compliance with relevant safety and regulatory standards
• Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management and other stakeholders

Requirements:

• Proven track record delivering industrial or power station projects, ideally involving gas turbine and control systems upgrades
• Strong client-side project management experience
• Technical knowledge of turbine systems, instrumentation, and control systems
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work onsite in South Australia for the duration of the project
• Tertiary qualifications in engineering or project management preferred
