About the role

We're seeking an experienced Events Coordinator to join our vibrant team at Dubbo RSL Memorial Club Group. As the Events Coordinator, you will play a vital role in planning, organising and executing a diverse range of events and functions.

You will be working a mixture of office hours (we can be flexible) and will need to be available for some occasional weekend work to manage large events.

This full-time position is based in Dubbo, NSW.

What you'll be doing

Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand event requirements and develop detailed event plans

Coordinating all logistical aspects of events, including venue management, catering, entertainment, and event staffing

Managing event budgets and ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented

Promoting events through various marketing channels to drive attendance

Overseeing on-site event management and troubleshooting any issues that arise

Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and the local community

What we're looking for

Minimum 1-2 years experience in event / function management or a related hospitality field

Excellent project management and organisational skills with the ability to multitask

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders

Creativity and problem-solving skills to develop innovative event concepts

Proficiency in event planning software and tools

Someone with a creative flair and passion for decorating

Current RSA certification required (or willing to obtain before commencement)

Valid Australian driver's licence required for occasional travel between venues
