About Us

At Healthia, our motto is “Transforming Health, Enriching Lives.” We’re one of Australia’s leading allied health groups, focused on delivering exceptional, patient-centred care. Just as importantly, we’re dedicated to enriching the lives of our people. Through internal initiatives, events and programs, we foster connection, learning, and community.

About the Role

We’re looking for a confident, proactive and creative Education Events and Engagement Coordinator to join our Education & Clinical Services team. In this varied and autonomous role, you’ll lead the delivery of engaging educational events and internal experiences that connect our people and communities.

This is a permanent, part-time position (2.5 days per week). Hours may change week-to-week depending on event timing, with occasional evening and weekend work. Flexibility is key, and your ability to shift focus when needed will be valued.

What You’ll Be Doing

Event & Project Management:

Plan and coordinate a wide range of internal and external events, from large-scale education events to graduate sessions and internal celebrations.

Oversee all logistics: venues, scheduling, catering, comms, AV, budgets and suppliers.

Ensure events run smoothly and align with our clinical and community strategy.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Liaise confidently with internal leaders, clinicians, university partners, and external vendors.

Manage competing priorities with professionalism and initiative.

Build trusted relationships and bring energy to every interaction.

Communications & Design:

Produce clear and engaging event communications.

Assist with basic graphic design through Canva (e.g., flyers, social tiles).

Assist with editing and uploading resources to our Learning & Development Hub.

Community Engagement:

Help our clinics build meaningful relationships with their local communities (sporting clubs, universities, professional bodies and more).

Represent Healthia at university events, graduate networking functions and other forums.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement:

Track engagement, gather feedback, and deliver post-event reports.

Use insights to evolve and enhance our future events and community strategy.

What You’ll Bring

Minimum 3+ years’ experience in events coordination, community engagement or similar.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects with autonomy and calm under pressure.

Excellent initiative. You are someone who sees what needs doing and gets on with it.

Strong written communication and copywriting skills.

Experience with Canva (or similar design tools) and other event management software (e.g., Eventbrite, survey tools, Monday etc).

Comfortable in L&D or project platforms.

Flexibility to work occasional weekends and evenings as required.

Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable shifting focus when needed.

Why Join Us?

Work with a longstanding, high-performing team with strong tenure and culture.

Be part of a purpose-driven company that makes a real difference.

Flexible, people-focused working environment.

Healthia employee discounts with up to 30% off services.

Employee Assistance Program & salary packaging options.

Opportunities to give back through community and charity initiatives.
