About the role
We’re a small but passionate team committed to delivering meaningful and engaging events for our members and the local business community. We’re excited to offer an opportunity for a capable and motivated Marketing and Events Coordinator to join us in planning and delivering a range of high-quality events throughout the year.
This hands-on role includes everything from developing event concepts and coordinating logistics to managing marketing campaigns, sponsorships, and communications. You’ll be responsible for creating engaging content across social media, newsletters, and the website, supporting member engagement, and helping to grow the Chamber’s presence in the region.
The role also includes general administration duties, support for grant and funding applications, liaising with stakeholders and suppliers, and providing regular updates to the Chamber Board. You’ll attend and represent the Chamber at events, collaborate with the executive team, and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of Chamber activities.
About you
We’re looking for someone who’s organised, enthusiastic, and happy to roll up their sleeves to get the job done. You’ll ideally have some experience in coordinating events and a basic understanding of marketing, but more importantly, you’re a great communicator who can build strong relationships with a range of people.
You’ll be confident handling admin tasks, have good attention to detail, and be comfortable working to deadlines. You can work well with others, but you’re also able to take initiative and manage tasks independently when needed.
Some familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and using basic online tools would be helpful, along with a willingness to learn as you go.
