ABOUT THE ROLE

This role will see you assist with building light weight tenders and dinghies by:

preparing production moulds

applying gelcoat / flowcoat / 2K paints

loading moulds with fibreglass/carbon fibre and core materials

assisting with vacuum resin infusion to manufacture components

Trimming and bonding component

Fitting off deck hardware, non-skid flooring and fenders

The role offers the opportunity to learn a wide range of production processes in the composite field, develop skills and knowledge in manufacturing lightweight carbon fibre components. Extensive on the job training will be provided to the right candidate.

You are a hands-on, enthusiastic individual who takes pride in producing high-quality work and is not afraid to roll up your sleeves.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

A positive attitude and willingness to learn new things is a must

A keen eye for detail and pride in quality work

Experience in the fibreglass / composites industry

Experience in using hand, power and air tools

Able to follow instructions, take initiative and be a team player

Trade qualifications will be viewed favorably

Permanent/full rights to work in Australia (we do NOT offer sponsorship)
