Mercure Centro is a 72-room hotel in the heart of Port Macquarie, recently recognised as the 2025 Coastline Bank Business Awards winner for Accommodation. We're now seeking a confident and capable Front Office & Reservations Team Leader to step into this key full-time role and help lead the day-to-day guest experience.

This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for someone with proven hotel front office and reservations experience. You'll be responsible for maintaining service standards, supporting the team, and ensuring accuracy across all bookings, while setting the tone for a seamless guest journey from first enquiry to check-out.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading by example across front desk operations and guest service
• Managing individual, corporate, and group reservations across all channels
• Assisting with quoting, proposals, and account communication
• Coaching and supporting junior team members
• Handling guest check-ins, check-outs, payments, and in-house requests
• Working closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Events, and F&B to ensure daily coordination

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You:

• Have previous hotel front office and reservations experience (essential)
• Are confident managing guest interactions and team support in a fast-paced environment
• Have a keen eye for detail, accuracy, and smooth admin follow-through
• Are warm, calm, and solutions-focused in your communication
• Have sound computer skills and are comfortable with PMS and OTA systems
• Have full Australian working rights and flexibility across a rotating roster
