Clarity Partners is partnering with a leading Australian civil engineering and fabrication business delivering high-quality, safe, and innovative solutions across major infrastructure projects.
We are seeking a highly organised and hands-on Production Manager to lead operations at our rebar prefabrication facility in Adelaide. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient production workflows, maintaining quality and safety standards, managing labour allocation, and delivering on daily, weekly, and project-based targets.
You will work closely with the leadership and project delivery teams to align operations with company goals while driving continuous improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations to meet manufacturing KPIs and delivery schedules.
- Lead pre-start meetings, ensuring all staff are clear on daily activities, safety requirements, and priorities.
- Manage workforce allocation, inductions, and operator competency.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Plan and coordinate logistics for inbound and outbound deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records, including material tracking, order documentation, and production reporting.
- Monitor and maintain plant, tooling, and equipment, ensuring servicing and repairs are carried out.
- Contribute to weekly planning meetings and prepare three-week production forecasts.
- Drive cost control initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Who Are You / What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing production or manufacturing operations, ideally in reinforcement or similar heavy fabrication.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organisational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Solid understanding of WHS requirements and quality control processes.
- Proficiency in scheduling, reporting, and managing operational workflows.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards.
