Title: Local Studies Officer, Permanent - Part-time Role, 21 hours per week
Salary Range: $80029.58 to $93006.52 (on a pro-rata basis) per annum + super (subject to skills and experience)

Northern Beaches Libraries are one of the largest and well-used library services in NSW. The library network has six library branches spread across the Northern Beaches in addition to online and outreach services, providing contemporary and innovate spaces, programs and services that support lifelong learning, social connection and community wellbeing.

Our opportunity :
The key focus areas of this role include:
1) Responding to local history and genealogical enquiries ensuring quality customer service is delivered.
2) Digitisation and accessioning of assets in line with industry and organisational standards for improved access to library collections.
3) Developing and delivering community workshops to improve access and awareness of local and family history resources.
